Science, technology, and active formulation
The GHD Platinum+ features Infinity sensors across both floating plates checking heat 250 times per second. The internal microprocessor continuously adjusts power output to maintain the safe 185°C threshold. Above 185°C, hair keratin undergoes permanent denaturation, whereas lower temperatures compromise hold. The Wishbone Hinge keeps ultra-gloss plates in parallel alignment for smooth styling.
Specifications: Ultra-zone predictive technology (adapts heat to hair thickness), fixed optimal temperature of 185°C, contoured ultra-gloss plates.
